Courtney Love's checkered career is common knowledge: her drug abuse, the suicide of her husband Kurt Cobain, the disconnect from her daughter Frances. None of that has anything to do with her music but all of it has something to do with why her music career's not bigger. The show was good. Courtney played all her best songs, the hits from her band Hole and selections from her solo work. It was a pretty short set, however, for the headlining act. All-in-all she sounded rough; I think her drug abuse has taken its toll. Still, she made it a fun time, telling stories and interacting with the crowd. She is currently working on a new solo record as well.
