It was a showdown at The Fillmore Silver Spring when Tesla road in to town. Back in town, not long after rocking with Def Leppard and Poison, to deliver a headlining set of their own. Tesla has definitely kept their Maryland fans jacked and happy, headlining the annual M3 festival twice in the last four years as well as the aforementioned monster tour earlier this year.

Tonight was all about Tesla as they hit the stage in front of a sold-out crowd opening with MP3, Into The Now and The Way It Is. The crowd was hype and they showed no shortage of energy. Singer Jeff Keith's vocals sounded sharp and the guitar duo of Frank Hannon and Dave Rude were a highlight all their own.

Following Hang Tough and Heaven's Trail, Tesla delivered a stylized acoustic set. Starting off with Cumin' Atcha Live/Truckin' followed by Paradise and the fan favorite Signs

After plugging back in they turned it up to close out the night with heat. Starting back up with What You Give and then delivered a killer rendition of Edison's Medicine. Love Song and Little Suzi followed and set the stage for the knockout in Modern Day Cowboy. The Tesla standard and my personal favorite track slayed and the crowd had nothing left after.

Tesla showed that they have no interest in slowing down. Tight and sharp from beginning to end.
